Buty Winery (pronounced "beauty") is best known for their Chardonnay and red wine, Rediviva of the Stones, named for Captain Robert Gray's ship. Captain Gray was one of the first European explorers to travel what is now known a the Columbia River in 1789.
The estate is located in the Grand Cru section of the Walla Walla Valley. Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvedre, Marsanne, Syrah and Roussane were planted in 2008.
