Col Solare Description

Col Solare Estate Vineyard and Winery sits atop Washington's Red Mountain.  The winery is a partnership between Washington's Chateau Ste. Michelle and Tuscany's Marchesi Antinori.

Col Solare, Italian for "shining hill," was inaugurated by its 1995 vintage.  In 2007, the winery was opened and the estate vineyard was planted on Red Mountain. The vineyard is includes Bordeaux varieties and Syrah.  While offering many red wines, their focus is on Cabernet Sauvignon.

The tasting room is open in Woodinville at the Col Solare Bottega tasting room and wine shop.  It is open with Chateau Ste. Michelle.  They offer 45 minute appointments from 10am to 4pm, seven days a week.  Appointments can be made by calling 425-415-3330.
