The first two vintages (1987 and 1988) of Hedges Cellars Cabernet-Merlot were sold exclusively in Sweden. Today, four different wines, including the 1997 vintage of Cabernet-Merlot, are sold in 45 states and 15 foreign countries.
The Estate is a supporter of Score Revolution. This group believes that the 100 point rating system is not an effective tool for examining wine. Score Revolution believes that if wine is a subjective, subtle, and experiential thing, then by nature it is unquantifiable.
